First Day of School…

images (4)Tomorrow starts a new school year for many households in the San Ramon Valley and other regions of the Bay Area!  Happy or sad, please note that traffic will be different, both on the highways and in your local neighborhoods.

Below is a message from the San Ramon Police Department that was shared with their local residents on Nextdoor.  Remember, we’ve recommended in the past that you join your local community on Nextdoor to keep in the loop on health, safety and crime information for your area…

“Tomorrow is the first day of school for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Give yourself a little extra time in the morning and make sure to keep an eye out for all the kids walking to and from school. For those of you who will be driving your children to school, make sure to follow the drop-off and pick-up procedures put in place for your specific school.

Thank you everyone for doing your part and making our streets safe for the students.

Remember to keep an eye on our Facebook page for more updates and give us a like while you’re there.…

You can also follow us on Twitter for continual updates on what is happening in San Ramon. Look us up at @sanramonpolice.”

Lt. Denton Carlson, San Ramon Police Services

Our youngest starts college next month – it’s crazy how the UC’s don’t start until the end of September – and we’re preparing for an empty nest.  If you have kids in the local schools K-12, have a fantastic school year and please reach out to us if you need help with anything.  We’re here for our friends and clients!
